Wa Na Wari “Walk the Block” Art Festival & Fundraiser

October 16th, 3pm-6pm. This fall Wa Na Wari is taking art to the streets for their 2021 Fall Fundraising Event. “Walk the Block” is their one-day art walk in the Central District, and 3rd Thing will be there to help celebrate and support this home for Black art and culture and the force behind Joy Has a Sound: Black Sonic Visions, the new anthology of Black writers and artists that 3rd drops this November.

“Walk the Block” transforms homes, businesses, parks, and other neighborhood spaces into outdoor, street-viewable art installations and performance sites.
